Aaron Geist, Youth Pastor Aaron, born in '79, is a native Oregonian, spending most of his years growing up with his family at Grace Point. After serving in the high school ministry as a volunteer for a few years, Aaron became an intern and later a pastoral assistant to the Youth Pastor. He graduated from Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon with a B.A. in Bible/Theology and a minor in Speech Communication and now serves as Youth Pastor. Aaron caught his passion for youth ministry when he was in high school himself. His favorite moments in ministry are when students "get it." He loves it when they understand something about God and His purpose for them. He loves seeing students reach out and serve, and desires to walk alongside them as they follow Christ. Aaron also delights watching students open themselves up to God in worship and wants to raise up new worship leaders. Aaron lives in Portland with his wonderful wife of two years, Alison. She has been serving alongside Aaron since before their marriage. His other passions include spending time with his wife, playing music, drinking coffee while reading a good book and the occasional round of disc golf with friends. |
