Jon Knapp, Associate Pastor – Discipleship/Small Groups, Missions, and Worship Jon Knapp came to Grace Point Community Church in the fall of 1997. He began an internship with Pastor Steve which evolved into a part time staff position in the fall of 1998. Jon has been serving as a full time Pastor with us since May of 2000. Prior to this, he was involved in camping and church ministry at First Baptist Church in Eugene. Jon is a Graduate from Western Seminary with the Master of Divinity Degree in Pastoral Ministry. He also graduated from Western Baptist College with a B. S. in Ministry: Biblical Studies. Jon and Lynsey married in 2002 and both enjoy running, sunshine, and coffee. Helping people center their lives and our church on the mission of God and becoming more like Jesus is at the heart of Jon's work. He does this through leading the mission commission, helping people connect in small groups, and giving oversight to the adult education at our church. Jon also leads worship for our church; helping folks open their hearts and lives to God. |
