Trust in the Lord
This morning I read Psalm 115 in our reading plan and it ministered to me. Here it is:
O Israel, trust the LORD!
He is your helper and your shield.
O priests, descendants of Aaron, trust the LORD!
He is your helper and your shield.
All you who fear the LORD, trust the LORD!
He is your helper
The LORD remembers us and will bless us
He will bless the people of Israel
and bless the priests, the descendants of Aaron.
He will bless those who fear the LORD, both great and lowly.
The psalmist reminds us to trust . . . then he reminds us what happens to those who trust God. They are blessed.
This last season of my life has been all about trusting God. We have pursued God’s heart for us, he has spoken to us, and we putting our trust in God. We have faith that because of those decisions, because we fear God we will bless us.
How can you trust God today? Will you trust him, or will you be consumed with fear and doubt? Listen to God, trust Him, and you will be blessed.
