Our Women's Ministry's Mission and Heart is to cultivate opportunities for authentic community and relationships that encourage women to grow in Christ while serving together.
1 Peter - Led by Irena Hall
Beginning September 18
Mondays | 7:00-8:30pm | MC Great Room
Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers' true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week.
Jeremiah – Led by Debbie Potter
Beginning September 20
Wednesdays | 9:30-11:30am | MC Great Room | Child care provided
When we look around at today’s world, hope usually isn’t the first word that comes to mind. In many ways we live in an unstable world where marriages fail, bank accounts run low, friendships end, and the everyday demands of a fast-paced life get us down. In the Book of Jeremiah, we find God calling out to His people with a message of hope—a message that intentional living is possible even in an unstable world. But how do we do this? Where do we start?
Jeremiah offers hope for living in an uncertain world by learning to navigate the challenges and circumstances of their lives.
Pearls of Wisdom – Led by Diane Brown
Beginning September 6
Wednesdays | 9:30-11:30am | Youth Center
We will see the story of redemption reach its climax as we study: Jesus’ early life and ministry, His miracles and parables, His death and resurrection, The spread of the gospel in the mission of the church, The letters to God’s people, and the good news of Christ’s return.
Through every passage, we’re studying the New Testament with eyes on the gospel, inspiring us to live on mission, sharing the good news of what Jesus has done while we wait for His return.
