The Micah Project

Two main areas of focus:

  • Providing young men in social risk situations in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with the spiritual, emotional, academic, and physical resources.

  • To transform them into servant-leaders in their family, society, profession, and faith community.

rebeca & Juan Quintanilla

Four main areas of focus:

  • Working with women who have been victims of violence

  • Empower single women

  • Bringing education to future young mothers

  • Children’s ministry from the city of Gracias, Lempira, and villages and towns from the west of Honduras

 

Patrick & Shalyn O’Connor

Serving the Mexico-Texas border with two main areas of focus:

  • Outreach into Mexico

  • To come alongside a valuable border-ministry training school, the Rio Grande Bible Institute.

Brad & Jen Butcher

Three main areas of focus:

  • Recruit, equip, and connect movement makers to multiply disciples, leaders, churches, and movements until no place is left.

  • Help communities of disciples run addiction recovery groups.

  • Help people start simple churches here in the US, where they can accelerate their growth and multiply disciples, leaders, and churches without needing to raise money.

 

Marissa & Gonzalo Yumiceba

Serving in Ohio with a focus on:

  • Spanish church plant ministry

  • Long-term goal: Church planting in Latin America

Marv Cowan

Focuses on evangelizing Mormons and helping other Christians become more effective in reaching them. To accomplish that, Marv has taught seminars on witnessing to Mormons, and he and others launched Utah Christian Publications, which he oversees

 

Brandon Wortman

Serves at Chico State and Butte College to focus on:

  • Help people connect with an authentic group of friends, explore what it means to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus.

  • Together find practical ways to change our world.

Love In the Name of Christ’s mission is to serve as the central hub to unite, align, and mobilize local churches and agencies to care for the practical and spiritual needs of our local communities. We partner with Love INC to help people in need in Tigard, Tualatin, and Sherwood by maintaining an Essential Closet and delivering these items to Love INC Clients.
