Mexico Outreach Mission Trip
May 30th - June 6th, 2026

 We are planning a mission trip to Matamoros, Mexico, with our missionary partners, Patrick and Shalyn O'Connor.

Team Profile:  We are hoping for a team of about 12 people, with a mix of ages and gifting.  It is encouraged that children be at least 10 years old, accompanied by an adult, and mature enough to engage in activities that may be out of the ordinary (e.g., different foods, cultures, or travel).

  • Recruit, equip, and connect movement makers to multiply disciples, leaders, churches, and movements.

  • Help communities of disciples run addiction recovery groups.

  • Help people start simple churches here in the US.

Two main areas of focus:

  • Serving unreached people groups in Africa.

  • They desire to share the good news of Jesus with those who have never heard.

  • They train and encourage the local church.

Two main areas of focus:

  • Providing young men in social risk situations in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with the spiritual, emotional, academic, and physical resources.

  • To transform them into servant-leaders in their family, society, profession, and faith community.

  • Help people connect with an authentic group of friends, explore what it means to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus.

  • Together find practical ways to change our world.

  • To come alongside a valuable border-ministry training school, the Rio Grande Bible Institute.
