Women's Summer Bible Study

We are moving to our summer schedule. Anyone looking for a time to laugh, study, and eat together is welcome.

How does this work? We will be meeting on June 23rd, July 28th, and August 25th in the summer at some of our wonderful ladies' homes.

You will be emailed the study questions (one or two pages) to work on before we meet. If you do not have a printer, please email the office, and we will arrange for you to receive a copy. If you are unable to attend for one month, that is fine; you can pick up where we left off in the month(s) you can make it and join us!

If you need a ride, let us know. There is always someone going past where you live! We hope this works for you, and we look forward to seeing you this summer!

Beginning Monday, September 9th we will study “Praying the Names of God.”

Names in the ancient world did more than simply distinguish one person from another. They often conveyed the essential nature and character of a person. This is especially true when it comes to the names and titles of God recorded in the Bible.

This unique Bible study helps you explore the most important of God’s names and titles as they are revealed in the Bible. It also teaches you how to pray with specific focus on each of the names of God.

Wednesday, September 6th join us as we began our weekly study on,  “When you Pray.”  

Prayer is a gift. It’s an ongoing conversation between God, the creator of the universe and us, the children created in His image. Through prayer we draw near to God and we unite with believers in praise, petitions, thanksgiving, lament and intercession.

As we come to prayer, we’re often filled with questions:

  • How do I learn to listen to God when I pray?

  • What do I do when I simply don’t have the words?

  • How do I pray in a way that honors God while also being honest about my disappointments and grief?

  • How do I join together with others in prayer that unites the church, heals relationships, restores brokenness and fuels mission? 

In When you Pray, we’ll study six prayers in the Bible that can inspire our own conversations with God. Above all, we’ll see there’s no one right way to pray. 

As we draw near to God through prayer together, we’ll find our faith strengthened and our hearts united with our sisters in Christ.

The study will be in person at Grace Point.  Please register so we know how many books to order.  The cost of the study guide will be $23.00.
