Join us for Youth Group at Summerlake Park! Tonight we will be playing Ultimate Frisbee and getting donuts; please bring $5-$10 if you plan on getting donuts.

Join us for Youth Group and Bowling at Big Al’s! The cost is $17 for 2 games of bowling with shoes and we encourage you to bring a little extra for food and arcade games.

On Sunday, June 18th, we will be celebrating students who are moving up and moving on in their school careers. Join us as we pray over these students during service and as we send the graduating seniors during cafe.

If you would like to bring a card for the graduating seniors, the students moving on from High School this year include Nathan Hagans, Zachary Ryerson, Sarah Sax and Alisa Sumner.

As you may have heard at Prep and Prime Time, there are some new developments happening at Grace Point Community Church in the area of Family Ministries.  Becky Curato and Michael Westfall have been working to develop a mission and vision for Family Ministries here at Grace Point.
We will hold a couple of gatherings that all of our parents and guardians with children and/or youth can attend.  You only need to attend one of these gatherings. 

The purpose of our gathering will be two-fold:

1.     Help you process the Mission and Vision of Family Ministries (and answer your questions)

2.     We want to hear how to better partner with you and your family. Come share with us how you currently disciple your children and youth as well as how we can better go about training, equipping, and resourcing you for this highly honorable role that you get to play in your children and youth’s lives…raising them in God’s ways.

Both of these gatherings will have free childcare provided.

On Wednesday, March 1st from 6:00pm to 9:30pm,  Youth ministry will be headed to Portland Christian Center for the Unite Youth Worship Night. Come join 40+ youth groups from the PDX area as we worship God together and invite your friends to hear a gospel message. Contact Pastor Michael for sign up and questions.

The annual Youth Christmas party for students grades 6-12 will be December 14th!

Join us for treats, contests and the traditional White Elephant Gift Exchange! Please limit your White Elephant gift to something you already have in your house or $5-$10. Tasteful joke gifts are encouraged. Don’t forget to invite your friends!

Student Connexion is an annual conference in the Portland Metro area for middle school through college aged students that aims to encourage the next generation to live an Acts 1:8 lifestyle spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Student Connexion is proud to be affiliated with Mission Connexion and shares the same passion for raising up the next leaders in the mission field with a specific focus on the youth of today.

Along with quality plenary and breakout sessions, one of Student Connexion’s highlights is always their Exhibitors Hall where students have a chance to have in depth 1-on-1 conversations with missionaries and educators about what it’s really like to be in the world telling people about Jesus.

While the conference is free to attend please note that bringing money for lunch is greatly encouraged if you’re not bringing your own meal from home.

We invite all Middle and High School students to join us as we break toast together during this special Sunday school. If you have any allergy concerns please let Pastor Michael know by July 27th so we can accommodate your needs.

Youth Group is going to the movies! Join us Tuesday, July 12th at Tigard Regal Cinema when we go to see “Minions:The Rise of Gru” for $5! Time is TBD so watch your emails for more information on the week.

The movie is $5 and students are asked to bring extra money for snacks if desired. Drop off and pick up will be at the movie theater.

Please Note: this takes the place of our normal Wednesday meeting

Join Youth Ministry in kicking off the summer at Summer Lake Park! Come enjoy a family Boom Ball game as well as other outdoor activities. The whole family is welcome to attend! Dinner will be provided, too.
